Torat TotsTorat Tots is the perfect introduction to Jewish tradition for your 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 year old child. We're singing and dancing and listening to stories and playing and creating and all the while taking in all kinds of exciting Jewish experiences. A Unique Event in the Life of Torat YisraelThe Burial of Sheimot/שמות
As we left our beloved Cranston congregational home of 60 years, we realized that we have a large collection of prayer books, bibles, tallitot and tefillin that are no longer respectfully fit for kosher use.
The only way we can properly dispose of these items is to bury them. This ceremony of Burial of Sheimot is a rare occasion in the life of a congregation. We invite you to join us and take a hand in this particularly sacred task. Torat Yisrael Burial of Sheimot Thursday, May 24 4:30 pm 1251 Middle Road East Greenwich, 02818 Torat Yisrael members who have prayer books, bibles, tefillin or Tallitot that are no longer fit for kosher use may bring those items with them and Rabbi Levin will verify if they may be buried on Thursday. |

East Greenwich Site Work Continues
As of April 22nd, the communal and spiritual home of our congregation is now in East Greenwich. We are anticipating that work on our new building will resume in May and that we will be ready to take occupancy by the end of 2012. Keep watching for news of our progress!
